Why Acronis?
Acronis started talking about cyber protection back in 2015 and now cyber protection is a common term used by all industry analysts including Gartner, IDC and Canalys. In addition to Acronis being a leader in the cyber protection space they also set out to build a platform purpose-built for MSPs, inclusive of the largest inventory of integrations designed and based on the needs of their partners. Their partners are what help to drive their roadmap. How is the evolution of cyber protection affecting MSPs?
As more businesses place their trust in MSPs and offload their critical data, MSPs are realizing the need to explore their ability to become a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). Ultimately MSPs are focused on protecting their customers and protecting and managing their workloads, their data and making sure they are not the next victim. With a renewed focus on consolidating their stack and tightening budgets MSPs need to work with vendors that can provide all of their security solutions. Acronis can provide that approach to MSPs that are concerned about cyber protection.
Among emerging trends, AI has been a major talking point. How is Acronis leveraging this technology to improve their platform?
Acronis has multiple uses for AI built into their technology.
- Active Protection: leverages AI to provide a next generation anti-ransomware capability.
- Device Sense: helps MSPs understand the risks within their own business
With Acronis' platform, MSPs are able see the devices in a single customer environment that are not protected and therefore address the lack of protection with that customer.
Additionally, Acronis has a set of procedures that their company must follow to ensure security utilizing AI and continues to help their integration partners to develop and implement the highest level of security regarding AI.
What services does Acronis provide to their MSP partners to simplify the implementation and use of their platform?
One of the top benefits of working with Acronis is having a large team of partner success managers that focus on the partner's needs. Additionally, partners are able to continue to scale their business via the nurture team and due to the capabilities of Acronis' platform to continually scale without additional resources. Our teams are focused on helping partners to grow and assist through the onboarding and implementation process. Partners can also utilize Acronis Academy for additional resources on their own.
Number two, Acronis works with a lot of partners that allow them to provide professional services and white glove concierge services to help with onboarding and to help with migration of protection plans.
Overall, Acronis partners will have a hands-on approach from the team to cater to the needs of the MSP and their customers concerning onboarding, implementation and how much they utilize the services of their dedicated team.
How are you simplifying day-to-day processes for MSPs?
